The Cottage

Grange Lodge is a modern stone-fronted luxury cottage, located on the Strokestown to Drumsna road overlooking Grange lake part of the river Shannon. Only 2 hours from Dublin, Strokestown is a heritage town in the Irish midlands – home to Strokestown Park House and Famine Museum and St John’s Genealogy Centre.
 
It is a popular angling centre for course and pike fishing being surrounded by 65 lakes within a seven mile radius. This gorgeous stone-fronted house is located 4.5 miles from town, in a spacious garden adjacent to Grange lake and harbour which holds good stocks of Pike, Bream, Rudd and Hybrids. This is an ideal touring base boasting a variety of attractions from fishing to golf and horse riding and nearby a children’s playground and tennis court.

Grange Lodge is a modern stone cottage at the track Drumsna - Strokestown overlooking the lake Grange Lake, which forms part of the Shannon. Just 2 hours from Dublin, Strokestown is a lovely historical town in the midlands of Ireland and the seat of the nationally known Strokestown Park House and a museum about the Irish famine. In harmony with nature, the house is equipped with solar panels and renewable energy for water and space heating. 

In a radius of 10 km there are 65 other lakes that are a paradise for fishing pike, among others. This beautiful and very spacious cottage is located 5 km from the center Stroke Towns and is surrounded by a large fenced garden, which in turn adjoins the lake. Here you can catch pike, bream and hybrids jedglicher kind. This represents Grange Lodge provides an ideal point of view, in the immediate vicinity of a host of attractions from fishing to golfing, horse riding and tennis are within easy reach. Similarly, there are playgrounds and a variety of excursions.
